Fantastic performance from the boys today. We knew it was going to be a tough match as I asked them all for high intensity and work rate. We were to push high in attack but to defend as a team and to get every player back behind the ball and make a net around it. We done exactly as I asked them. Sunday morning saw AFC take on a high flying Anstey Nomads side who had made scoring goals habitual. A very positive training session, that saw tactics, discussion of structure and most importantly happy faces, prefaced the fixture. Coming off a heartbreaking last minute draw last weekend against Quorn, AFC Market Bosworth needed a big reaction. The Roses faced Epworth in the League Cup, just several games after their 2-2 draw earlier this season.
