Tight game with Kibworth
The Belles travelled to Kibworth having played each other the week before, which ended in an entertaining 1-1 draw. There was no Ava S, Ava H and also Evie who is still injured. But had Lois available as she started at left back. Lola C returned at right back, with Eliza pushing to left midfield. The Blades looking sharp
With three new players debuting with the team today and an uphill run for the first half of the match, the game could have gone either way. The boys settled well as a team and to a lad played for each other. Ethan opened up the scoring with some fantastic foot work followed up by a long range goal. He added to his tally later in the game with a lone run from the half way line to get his second of the game. Bullets take the positives of a strong campaign
The final fixture of the U13s chapter saw AFC take on a strong St Nicholas Swifts side, known for moving the ball with confidence and composure. It proved to be a competitive and hard-fought encounter from start to finish. AFC were slow out of the blocks and struggled to find their rhythm early on, which allowed Swifts to capitalise and take the lead.
