Tough assignment at the Lamb

A great effort from the U11 Trailblazers away at ‘The Lamb’ today. It was always going to be a tough assignment against the Tamworth academy. We acquitted ourselves very well and dug in excellently, particularly in how well we defended our penalty box.

Laurie and Florence were both very strong today, the latter with a brilliant tackle at the end. Isla was excellent too in her first league game, taking up some very good positions. Edie and Tahlia worked really hard in the middle, as did Jeorgie on the wing, supporting both attack and defence.

Players of the match were Edith, for some outstanding saves, and Sofia for a great engine up and down.

Thanks to our parents for making the journey over and supporting us!
