OUR HISTORY
AFC Market Bosworth was formed on 20th July 2011 by Steve Farrington, Dan Nickols, Rob Bryant and Jason Jones. Accepted into the Tamworth Junior Football League, a new era for Market Bosworth football dressed in blue and black.
The club in 2015 crossed new boundaries with the formation of a girls team led by David and Donna Edwards, this led the way for girls football in the local area.
Today, the club operates with 25 teams from the youngest junior age group under 6 through to under 18 with open age football as a pathway into senior teams both male and female with an older age offering for 35+ veterans.
GIRLS SECTION CREATED
The first girls team was created, known as the U7 Roses shortly followed by the U10s.
OPEN AGE TEAMS CREATED
The male and female open age teams were formed, our mens team entered the Leicester Alliance Sunday League and the womens team enter the Leicestershire Womens and Girls Football League.

CLUB FORMED
AFC Market Bosworth is formed with a new boys section and teams entering the Tamworth Junior Football League.
2015
NEW VETERANS TEAM CREATED
A veterans team was formed consisting of club coaches and friends. This was the first senior team within the club.
