The comeback kids!
After a flying start to the season, the Blazers were caught off guard by Next Gen’s explosive opening this week. However, this team is built on grit. Rolling up their sleeves after an legendary half-time team talk, the Blazers completely turned the game in their favour. The second-half display was a masterclass in resilience against top-tier opposition, proving exactly why the Blazers are the team to watch this season. The Battle for Middle-Pitch
When you think of a football match between neighbouring teams, what fills your mind? Pride, passion, and a pitch (battlefield) filled with all the epic drama of a Lord of the Rings movie! This was a match for the ages between the Blazers and Ibstock that had all of that and more, mirroring the great struggles of the Third Age. Both teams showed the fierce determination of Gondor and Rohan, battling hard to win the ball high up the pitch, and giving their all as if they were d

The Blazers bringing the smiles with their play
The Blazers were back on the road for a league fixture against Measham. The Blazers must have had their weetabix as the started off fast and on the front foot. They worked their way in to the game with patient play and a desire to put the opposition under pressure. Throughout the game they found spaces down the wings, with crosses and through balls that troubled the Measham defence. There were no frowns to be seen at the performance from the whole team. Blazers on fire… your defence is terrified!
The Blazers delivered a performance that showed they can play with confidence, energy and a togetherness. The passing was sharp, with several flowing moves that cut through the opposition and showed how much the Blazers are growing week by week. When chances came, the finishing was explosive, we saw thunderbolts into the net and team goals that lifted everyone on the sidelines. Every player contributed, working hard off the ball, supporting each other and showing an intensity

Kings performance from the Blazers
An early kick off for the blazers, but the sun was out and the pitch conditions were excellent. Josh and Noah were unavailable as they were away but the Blazers still had a strong squad of 8 players! Daniel - so composed in goal, his timing when coming off his line and also his confident handling of the ball is brilliant to see. A well deserved second clean sheet in 2 games. James - goes about his business with very little fuss. Excellent passing from the deep areas and a bra

The first half saw the Blazers take the game to Coalville, finding neat passing down the wings and plenty of balls in to the box to test the Coalville defence. In the second half both sides made positive moves forward and both defences scored top marks in the tests sent there way. "There's a dog on the pitch..they think it’s all over, it i

Wet Weather Warriors
For their last friendly before the season opener. The Blazers travelled through the pouring rain to play Kibworth, where the weather didn't dampen the Blazers performance. The first half the Blazers took control of the game, with swift passing plays and plenty of shots at goal. In the second half, with their backs to the wall they put in a steely defensive performance. From this weeks squad, Levi was missing and we hope to have him back soon. View from the dugout: Really comp

Blazers back for pre-season
After the summer break, the Blazers were back for their first friendly of the new season against Coalville. Blazers in Pre-Season The Blazers never looked like they had been away for the summer break. Their passing and moving was another level, the composure on the ball of a Ballon d'Or winner, their passing like a tiki taka Spanish side, and everyone in the side putting in all their effort to support in attack and help out in defence. The travelling fans and our coaching tea
