Kings performance from the Blazers
An early kick off for the blazers, but the sun was out and the pitch conditions were excellent. Josh and Noah were unavailable as they were away but the Blazers still had a strong squad of 8 players!
Daniel - so composed in goal, his timing when coming off his line and also his confident handling of the ball is brilliant to see. A well deserved second clean sheet in 2 games.
James - goes about his business with very little fuss. Excellent passing from the deep areas and a brave tackle that stopped a certain opposition goal.
Wyatt - linked up play between defence and attack really well. Went close with a shot in the second half and drove the Blazers forward at every opportunity.
Nathan - his determination was on another level today. So much hard work in midfield with and without the ball. Showed his quality in possession too.
Freddie - really unlucky to not get on the score sheet, seeing one shot just go over and another just wid. His positive runs on the wing were a constant threat all game.
Levi - got 2 goals today and his work rate in the forward areas was phenomenal. Full of quality on the ball and ran at the defence at every opportunity.
Chance - after the first couple of games of the season, it's clear that he has the opportunity of it being his best! Was incredible all game, showing strength and determination, with a wonderfully taken goal.
Luca - so composed on the ball with his skills seeing him drive forward from defence. His decision making is amazing, knowing when to play or pass or take the ball forward. Oozed quality all game and was awarded player of the match!
A fantastic display from the boys. The first half was very competitive and the boys were tasked with sticking to their play as more chances will follow in second half. Absolutely delighted with the performance, as the boys showed brilliant determination and quality in their play!
