The boys are back in town!

The 26/27 season is underway!

The Blazers stepped out in the Newbold sunshine to take on Coalville in a test for both sides in matchday 1. The first half saw the Blazers take the game to Coalville, finding neat passing down the wings and plenty of balls in to the box to test the Coalville defence.

In the second half both sides made positive moves forward and both defences scored top marks in the tests sent there way. "There's a dog on the pitch..they think it’s all over, it is now" (Eric - our pitch invader, please respect the respect barrier!)

Daniel - made a number of impressive saves and made sure he had full cover of his area when the ball made its way in to the box.

James - makes defending look easy, taking control of any opposition attack and turning it in a chance for the Blazers with quality passing.

Luca - swept up anything that looked dangerous. Reading the plays both in defence and attack in a calm and composed way.

Josh - never afraid to put himself of the way of any shots on goal. Made several key blocks and interceptions when the attackers had broken through.

Wyatt - taking the attack to the opposition. Linking up the play from defence to attack and midfield out to the wings with precise passing.

Noah - brave on the ball. Bringing it forward and taking on 1 or even 2 players with confidence and skills in his dribbling.

Chance - swift on the ball. whether that be with a turn and shot that deserved a goal or moving the ball forward down the wing, a commanding performance and player of the match award.

Nathan - is brilliant and finding spaces that no other player sees. A tidy finish for his goal. Moving the ball really well, finding gaps to move in to or play the key through ball.

Levi - on the scoresheet with a composed finish. He has no fear in moving the ball between both feet and bamboozling the defenders.

Freddie - makes playing as a winger look easy. A quick switch of feet and pace and he is away from the defenders, causing issues for the defence all game.
