After a slight hiccup where one half of the pitch was a rounders field. The coaches were initially left ‘stumped’ but with cones down to mark out the lines the game went ahead. Both teams put in a great ‘innings’, every player ‘fielding’ an impressive performance. With plenty of ‘swings’ at the ball in which all ‘bases’ were covered, with plenty of brilliant passing, and great defending. In defence for both sides ‘no ball’ went a miss with tidy marking, tackling and clearing of the ball.
View from the dugout:
A good display from the boys. We tried them in different positions as it’s crucial for their development that they are tested in unfamiliar roles
Goalscorers – Luca, Levi, Wyatt and Chance
Player of the Match - Josh

Missing from the side this week was Daniel. Who we hope to have back for upcoming end of season friendlies.
Chance – A superb volley for his goal. Throughout the game he looked to take on the opposition showing strength and great control of the ball.
Wyatt – Showed great positional awareness particularly when moving between defence and midfield. Talking to his team mates to keep them organised.
Josh – Stepping up and going in goal. Very brave when diving at the feet of oncoming strikers and made several point blank saves.
Nathan – Was seen sweeping up the loose ball and making forward plays happen. Linking up with his team mates with neat passing and finding space for the return ball.
Levi – Was involved all over the pitch. Stepping in to defence or in more forward positions, he kept possession really well either weaving between defenders or finding passes to other Blazers.
Easton – Commanding on the ball, he has a brilliant range of passes, keeping the ball short or finding a searching through ball for wingers who were sneaking in behind.
Luca – A tidy finish for his goal. Showed on a number of occasions a burst of pace to chase down the ball, or to sneak past the opposition and in to more forward positions.
James – Worked hard for the team. Pressuring the ball really well to keep the opposition on their toes. Running forward or running back to support his team he didn’t stop running.
Freddie – Neat passing plays, working great little triangles to baffle defenders that were trying to win the ball back. Confident on the ball whilst dribbling with both feet.
Well done Blazers!
