Teamwork makes the dreamwork for Blazers!

Another week and another brilliant performance by the Blazers. Despite the final scoreline, the Blazers delivered one of their most impressive performances. From the first whistle, the team pressed with confidence, moved the ball around nicely, and showed fantastic teamwork in defence and attack to pressure the attackers and win the ball back.

Every one of the Blazers worked hard for the full match, showing real character to keep their fans on the edge of the respect barrier!

Players of the Match – Luca and James

Missing from the team with week was Nathan and we hope to have him back soon.

Goalscorers – Levi

Luca – Super sweeper. Using all of his pace to cover across the defensive line, sweeping up any danger from the opposition.

James – Defensive wall. Rarely found to come away from a tackle without the ball. He showed great awareness and defensive positioning throughout.

Freddie – Space spy. Spying any space to make an attack. Sneaking in behind the defence on several occasions with quick dribbling or losing his defender.

Easton – Super shot. Popping up in and around the area for a fizzing shot at goal. One brilliant turn and pass down the line almost set up a goal.

Levi – Quick feet. 1 or 2 defenders around him no problem. With a quick turn and flick of the ball, he was in behind the defence on a number of occasions and a nice bottom corner finish for his goal.

Chance – Speedy boots. Whether taking on and speeding past the defender or nipping back to help in defence, he always showcases his speedy feet.

Wyatt – Midfield dynamo. Working so hard to win the ball back and find space for a through ball. Creating several key chances for attacking players.

Daniel - Safe hands. Commanding his area, making sure to dive on any loose balls in the box and keeping hold of the ball well from shots at goal.

Josh – Mr versatile. Up front, he is always giving the defenders an issue to think about. When in defence he has a great determination to pressure the attacker.
