The Blazers were back in league action as we welcomed Ibstock. The Blazers had a full squad available with birthday Boy Daniel bringing sweets for the whole team! The game was a very competitive one with both teams really showcasing their hard work and ability.
Daniel - made a wonderful save in the first half to deny a certain goal. Then followed it up with a diving save in the second half
Wyatt - another goal for him as he demonstrated his strength on the ball. Drove the blazers forward from midfield at every opportunity
Easton - saw a shot go wide in the first half and brought his usual energy to the team. Another player who showcased his strength on the ball
Freddie - always looking to dribble beyond players and nearly scored a brilliant goal in the second half
Chance - a typical display from him that was full of positive running with and without the ball. Played on either wing with great effect
Levi - his silky skills were on show as the opposition defence struggled to stop him. Nearly grabbed a goal in the second half
James - his speed was helping the defence out massively and a strong run up the right wing saw the defence clear his cross very well
Nathan - was everywhere in midfield, covering every blade of grass. It was a very unselfish performance from him and showed what a real team player he is.
Josh - led the line brilliantly well and opened the scoring. Nearly added a second after some lovely control and a sharp turn.
Luca - a phenomenal display from him. So strong and quick in defence. Constantly intercepting the ball and being first to the tackle. So close to capping off a fine display with a goal and was awarded Player for the Match.

A very entertaining match with both teams working hard on difficult pitch to play football on. It's been a busy month of birthday's so far with Freddie, Chance, Coach Scott and Daniel all enjoying theirs!
Well done Blazers!
