FANS ROAR ON THE BRILLIANT BLAZERS!

What a game we witnessed this morning between the Blazers and the Ashby Ivanhoe Vikings. Both sides gave it their all, in what was a close game throughout. Each side showed confident dribbling, superb passing and a steely determination to win the ball. With only a few league games under their belt, the Blazers are showing how well they are developing as individuals and as a team making fans and coaches alike proud of their performance.

Goal-scorer - Levi

Josh with one of the brightest retro goal shirts ever seen at Dixie! He stepped up to go in goal and made a number of brilliant blocks.

Levi under pressure from defenders his goal was a calm and cool finish. Often seen leading the drive forward with a number of step overs and neat tricks.

Easton showed how well he reads the game. Interceptions all over the pitch. Brilliant forward passing and through balls kept the opposition defence under pressure.

Nathan showed his steel in midfield, throughout he was putting in the tackles, really neat passing play and keeping up the pressure in defence or attack.

James he shows a real determination to win the ball, either tracking back or putting in a challenge to make several key tackles. So close to a goal with a David Beckham style free kick.

Freddie with an amazing assist, he seemed to dribble it past everyone before finding a lovely pass into the danger area. Proved a great partner in defence, putting pressure on attackers and not giving them an inch.

Chance is a constant threat to opposition defenders. Finding dangerous spaces for his team mates to find a pass to him. He has a real confidence in dribbling with the ball and sneaking past defenders.
