The Blades looking sharp

With three new players debuting with the team today and an uphill run for the first half of the match, the game could have gone either way. The boys settled well as a team and to a lad played for each other.

Ethan opened up the scoring with some fantastic foot work followed up by a long range goal. He added to his tally later in the game with a lone run from the half way line to get his second of the game. Long range goals also came via George, who lobbed the keeper, Jude who scored a cracker on his debut shortly followed by a second too showed the teams confidence was high. Charlie added to the tally for the boys in blue.

Our defenders were strong at the back with midfield providing great support.

It didn’t all go the Blades way with some great strikes and defensive work by Ashby they managed to get three goals too but never really looked like taking a lead.

Parents player of the match was a close call but Ethan was selected for the two confident goals, excellent footwork and not giving up on a single ball.
