BLAZERS GROWING ON AND OFF THE PITCH!

The Blazers welcomed Stonydelph Sabres on the back of some really positive displays. Unfortunately Josh was still unwell but still boasted a strong squad of 9 players. The game was an enthralling contest, end to end with both teams showing determination and quality.

Daniel made a couple of excellent saves first half. Then second half he somehow clawed the ball away from the top corner. His bravery was also fantastic, rushing out at the feet of an attacker.

James, his energy is relentless and showed real quality on the ball. He drove forward numerous times and played a brilliant pass into Levi to set the Blazers on the attack.

Wyatt was another player that demonstrated fantastic work ethic throughout the game. He saw a long range shot well saved by their goalkeeper. He linked up defence and attack really well.

Easton made a lovely pass set the Blazers on the attack first half. Always willing to drive forward with the ball and showed excellent work ethic throughout.

Freddie loves a driving run and today was no exception. He has this way of shielding the ball so well and has the confidence to take the ball forward for the team.

Chance never stops running and his strength on the ball was evident. Went close to scoring in the second half but somehow the defender made a tackle.

Nathan was captain today and led by example. His determination to win the ball back was excellent and really brings energy to the team. Made a brilliant interception from their attacker

Another two goals today for the silky skilled Levi. Always looking to attack and was a defenders nightmare with his sharp turns and direct running.

Luca, a dynamic display from him. Always looking to meet the ball and get the Blazers forward. He has incredible pace and ability in possession. Awarded player of the match for his tremendous play this morning.

It was a close game between two very good sides. The Blazers dug in and showed incredible team spirit. It shows how far they have come as a team with another positive performance from them!

Huge shout out to the Blazers fan base who have been nicknamed 'the ultras'. They even have their own logo! It's even got as far as flags, a printed team shirt and coach Sam having a tattoo!
