An away trip for the blazers, in windy but sunny conditions. During the pre match warm up the boys were looking great in their new kit courtesy of our sponsor Thornton Nurseries and coffee shop. Not long after, Coach Scott did his best Bambi on ice impression in the mud with some of the players vowing to never pass the ball to him again!
A welcome return to the team for goalkeeper Daniel and Wyatt, but we were missing Josh who was unwell and unable to make the game. We wish him a speedy recovery! The blazers were looking to continue their impressive form of late and today's game was another example of how much the team have improved!

Daniel denied their forward on a couple of occasions and his handling was excellent. He's a calming influence between the sticks with his distribution key to starting attacks.
Luca, a bundle of energy and his pace is fantastic. He saw a shot blocked and drove forward many times into midfield
James , another player who was full of energy and pace. Made a couple of brilliant runs and went close with shot wide
Captain Freddie showcasing his confidence on the ball. A lung bursting run on the right wing nearly created a goal
Easton got to the ball first on many occasions and his tireless work in midfield was fantastic. He struck a shot just wide in the first half
Nathan got up and down the pitch with ease. He has fantastic ability on the ball but will also work hard to get the ball back
Chance as always was is extremely positive on the ball. Played in the wide areas today and drove past players several times. Was really unlucky to not score a goal after the goalkeeper saved his shot
Wyatt was back after holiday with a bang! His determination to carry the ball was great but he also passed at the right moments. He was awarded with two brilliant goals
Levi never gave the defence a moments peace with his direct running and skills on the ball. His awareness in the box was excellent and a well deserved hat trick for him!
The boys have made huge strides, particularly over the last month. The quality of the football is such a high level and they are working so hard. Today's display is the latest example of their hard work paying off!
We couldn't pick one player of player of the match as they all played so well. It was awarded to the whole team for another dynamic team performance!
Well done Blazers!
