The Blazers were back in cup action. The fans and flags were out on a sunny Saturday morning where the Blazers were looking to progress to the Semi Finals of the Major Cup. What an achievement to get this far in the competition. On the pitch the Blazers showed superb work ethic and a steely determination to keep running and working hard for each other despite what proved to be a tough game in the end.
Fans View:
We could see how they dug in and battled and all are a fantastic group of lads. Valiant effort, very proud of them all
Daniel – Player of the Match. A number of top bins saves and dominating the loose ball in around his penalty area.

Nathan – Composure on the ball, making passing plays happen and showing his awareness of where his teammates have found space.
Wyatt – Shields the ball really well when in possession. Finding pockets of space to keep the ball moving forward with his close control.
Josh – Another player of the match. Brave in defence, showing no fear in throwing himself in front of shots on goal and organising marking at set pieces.
Easton – A number of searching passes down the wings. Working hard to get back and cover in defence when needed.
James – Strong in the tackle, showing the attackers they had to work for a shot on goal.
Freddie – Flying forward particularly in the second half. He kept the defenders on their toes, finding spaces in behind.
Chance – Twisting and turning, getting the defenders in knots. Always keeping an eye out for wingers sneaking in to the box.
Levi – Worked really hard in defence, making several almost pitch length runs to track back and help out the defenders.
Luca – Step over and turn, a really confident dribbler of the ball. Another who worked hard for the team to keep the attackers out.
Keep going Blazers!
