A Blazers and Bullets showdown!

This game and the weather had it all. A friendly match up between the Blazers and the Bullets took place at Dixie in the sunshine and the rain! Two sides who pride themselves on their next passing plays and putting on the pressure from the front to win the ball back. In both halves, both sides had periods where they showed how much progress they have made throughout the season.

Goalscorers – Wyatt and James

Players of the Match - Levi and Daniel

Daniel - Pulled out a number of worldie saves, particularly a save to stop a shot flying towards the top corner.

Levi – Put in a shift in defence and attack. With neat touches as he dribbled past a number of players to make a key forward pass.

Freddie – Found space in behind the defenders on several occasions. With nice movement and close control of the ball in attacking areas.

Chance – Put in the yards, as he was on the move all game. Tracking back to help out in defence or moving the ball forward at speed.

James – A tidy finish for his goal. Always keeps his head up, looking for a pass or a shot towards the top corner.

Wyatt – On the scoresheet with a brilliant finish. Worked hard in the midfield area to win the ball back or sneak in to areas for a shot at goal.

Josh – Kept it neat and tidy with calm passing of the ball and awareness to block the shot at goal from the attackers.

Nathan – Put in a shift, working well with team mates for neat passing plays or to work together to close out the opposition.

Easton – Quick feet and close control of the ball. Showcased his skills to keep the defenders on the toes throughout.

Luca – Showed his great positional awareness across several positions on the pitch. Great pace and determination to win the ball.
