Sonics made it just before the rain hit in! All children rotated and some into a few positions.
The challenge to the Sonics today was simple, take a touch, head up drive when appropriate and release the ball to team mates to keep playing football, no long balls! The Sonics settled after the first 15 minutes and started to relax playing between them selves, Max T scored a great powerful goal, James with 4 goals and Tom with 2 and one on the score sheet for Max W!
As the Sonics know it’s not about the goals it’s about the team performance and defensively we were strong with David in goal stretched out to save at times, as a trio in defense we made some good passes forwards to the centre mids, out to the wingers and through to the striker.
Two players took the Player of the Match accolades, one to Tom for his excellent work ethic, super skills, not being afraid to take on the opposition, but also looking for the pass and scoring two great goals.

The other Player of the Match was to James who positionally is excelling weekly, he makes the well timed runs, doesn’t give up and uses his power when required, with four well taken goals as well.

Well done Tom, James and all of the Sonics!
