Sonics Start with Tough Cup Match

Start of the season, cup game and one of the strongest teams in the league!

The Sonics responded maturely, with skill, pace and fire!

The defensive line of Freya, William, Ben, Freddie and James were constantly pressed and had a great ‘mini team’ game working together and clearing the lines.

David in goal made some fantastic shot stopping saves. We played more defensive today and that meant we had three in the middle which alternated but mainly consisted of Arlo, Jenson and George F. They worked like power houses throughout the game, looking for the release to players and making the play happen, Arlo was rewarded with a very well taken goal just before half time.

Jack today was on fire as striker chasing down every ball, pressing the opponents and putting in an excellent stint. Today though one player shone in the defensive line, he was first to the ball numerous times, worked under pressure with composure and found the feet of his team mates constantly, today’s player of the game was William!
