SONICS DIG IN!

Cold windy feeling to the game but pleased to have a game! Hard start for the sonics with a definite ‘dig in there’ atttude required in the first half, due to the strong structured opposition and losing players through injury.

The second half we were more composed as a team on the ball, passing better and the energy and want for the ball had upped the anti. Max as striker had a brilliant game today and was strong to attack the ball, Jake, Louie, Jenson, Tom in the middle and wings of the pitch worked well to get the ball out to the sides and attack towards goal, sadly we lost Ben and William to injury and they didn’t see much of the ball.

Player of the Match - George

The defence of Freya and Leighton worked together as a consistent strong defensive duo and David in goal who made some strong out stretched saves. That said George today who stepped into the left back role was strong to the ball, read it well, swept it away when needed, attacked with the ball when the moment was right and today George was the player of the week. Well done George and all the sonics!
