SAFE HANDS WILL

Today we faced a very strong side, and while the scoreline didn’t go our way, there were plenty of positives to take from the game.
The first half was tough, and we struggled to find our rhythm early on, but the boys showed great character by coming out with much more energy and intensity after the break. Even though the opposition raised their game again, our effort never wavered, and we kept working hard right to the end.
With only one substitute available and players stepping into unfamiliar positions, this was always going to be a challenge, but the lads adapted well and showed real team spirit.
Camden was excellent from the first whistle, playing with great intensity and determination. Will was deservedly named Man of the Match by the opposition for his fantastic saves and vocal presence—he should be proud of his performance, even if he’s disappointed with the result.

This game is just a small part of our journey and certainly doesn’t define our season. We’ve shown time and again that we’re better than this, and we’ll bounce back stronger next week. Heads up, keep working hard, and let’s come back fresh and ready to go!
