HEY JUDE!

Second game of the season saw the U13 Bullets travel to Ambleside to play a very strong St Nicholas Swifts. The first half saw a scrappy start for the Bullets who played some good football in small spells but just couldn't find that killer pass to create chances, whistle blew for half time and the game went in all square at 0-0.

In the team talk we spoke about upping the work rate and being more confident with the ball. Ten minutes into the second half saw the Bullets concede to a corner, the Swifts reacting very quickly to stab the ball in the back of the net. Going a goal down the Bullets reacted well with a quick equaliser which was taken very well, taking the ball around the on rushing goalkeeper.

Shortly after the Bullets took the lead with a well taken penalty, with the game still end to end, the Bullets drove forward into the oppositions box and with some quick footwork saw a Swifts defender bring down a Bosworth player, penalty awarded late on in the second half. Ball down on the spot, whistle blows and the ball hits the back of the net to give the Bullets a well deserved 3 points, a great shift by all of the players!
