The weather may have been chilly, but the finishing was red hot from the Blazers in an away game against Stoneydelph. Both sides finding the back of the net on a number of occasions. For the Blazers six different players hitting the back of the net. Goalscorers were: Nathan, Levi, James, Chance, Freddie, and with his first goals for the team Easton.
With Halloween just around the corner, we saw lots of tricks (the good kind!) and what a treat we had from the Blazers. From everyone in the side there was amazing teamwork, plenty of positive forward plays in passing to teammates, confidence to dribble the ball and try tricks, and each of the Blazers working so hard for each other in both defence and attack.
View from the bench:
“What a performance from the boys. That was by far out best display with passing and moving, the quality of play and our goals were outstanding”
Player of the Match – Easton

Josh deputising in goal again this week, with a number of lovely low-down saves and brilliant distribution from the back.
Freddie, an assist last week followed up with a beautiful finish for his goal this week. He has a brilliant confidence and no fear approach when dribbling the ball towards defenders.
Luca, Stoneydelph’s crossbar is still wobbling after how hard he smashed a shot against it. Always winning the ball in the middle of the pitch, he always then keeps his head up to find a pass to a teammate in space.
James shows his pace and determination to win the ball back from the opposition, he is becoming a set piece wizard with his dangerous in swinging corners.
Levi showcased his favourite tricks and flicks to get past defenders on a number of occasions. Finding space in behind the defence brilliantly to get on the scoresheet with calm and cool finishing.
Easton thoroughly deserved his player of the match award. Really positive when going forward, his passing in particular was superb, passing with accuracy and awareness to find his teammates. His second goal what a finish that was.
Chance makes it so tricky for defenders with lovely passing plays or dribbling at the opposition, defenders rarely know what to expect next when he has the ball at his feet.
Nathan showed strength and determination when stepping into a challenge and rarely loses the ball. Another player on the scoresheet with lovely finishing.
Brilliant performance Blazers!
