FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE FROM THE DRAGONS

Fantastic performance from the boys today. We knew it was going to be a tough match as I asked them all for high intensity and work rate. We were to push high in attack but to defend as a team and to get every player back behind the ball and make a net around it.

We done exactly as I asked them. They really were superb and by far the best they have been all season. The work rate from all of them was fantastic and I really couldn't have asked for more.

Finished 4 - 1 but at the end I changed it to a back 3 to see if we could push for an equaliser. I have to say a fantastic goal aswell from Lucas from a well worked corner from Charlie.

I actually think we were the better team overall, they had 2 players that changed the game for them. We passed it round well and had some really good passages of play

I've given player of the match to two lads today

Sam and Lucas.

I thought Sam was fantastic today. His work rate and his understanding of the game was fantastic. He was strong and defended really well. He pushed high when needed but also work hard and got back.

Lucas was equally as good. His work rate was unbelievable, he he had his tracker on he definitely would have marked the highest coverage ever for him. He was everywhere from attack to defense and never gave up. Topped off with a fantastic goal. Well done to both of you!
