DRAGONS STRUGGLE AT BURTON JOYCE

After all the postponed matches due to the rain, the dragons also expected to be called off. However to everyone's surprise the game away at Burton Joyce was ON!

Conditions were horrendous and it didn't stop raining from the moment we left to the moment we arrived home.

We started the game with a minute silence for the tragic loss of an ex player at the club. The dragons send their condolences.

We struggled from the off and really lacked the intensity we needed. We couldn't get into the game and couldn't match the passion from the opposition. Second half we were much better for the first 20 minutes and played some lovely football. Getting 2 goals back but unfortunately we couldn't overcome the deficit.

Player of the Match - Sam

Sam was awarded today's player of the match. He gave 110% from the beginning and never gave up. He worked tirelessly, he pressed he showed great intensity and took a lovely goal aswell. He was a leader and showed what we want from every player. A fantastic performance.
