Bullets fire back in draw

After what felt like an eternity without a home fixture, AFCMB Bullets finally returned to home turf to face a well-organised Kingsbury Aztecs side in an entertaining and hard-fought encounter.

From the opening whistle, AFC started brightly, playing some excellent football and moving the ball with confidence. Their passing and movement kept Kingsbury on the back foot for much of the first half, with the Bullets creating several promising chances. Despite their attacking pressure, AFC just couldn’t find the finishing touch. Late in the half, the home side thought they had broken the deadlock, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. With neither team able to score, the sides went into the break level at 0–0.

The second half began in a similar fashion, with AFC again looking sharp early on. However, midway through the half Kingsbury managed to take the lead against the run of play. Shortly afterwards, the visitors were awarded a penalty which they converted to double their advantage and move 2–0 ahead.

Facing a two-goal deficit, AFC showed great character and determination. A change in formation sparked new energy in the Bullets, who pushed forward in search of goals. Their persistence paid off as they pulled one back with a well-taken goal, giving the team renewed belief.

With momentum now firmly on their side, AFC continued to press and were rewarded again with another excellent goal to bring the score level. The comeback ensured the Bullets earned a well-deserved share of the points after an impressive second-half fightback.

AFC can take plenty of positives from the performance, particularly their attacking play and resilience, which saw them recover from two goals down to secure the draw.
