BULLETS COME OUT FIRING!

It was a big game for the AFC Market Bosworth Bullets this morning as they faced off against Kingsbury Aztecs FC — and what a performance it turned out to be!

The Bullets started the game a little slowly, with a few stray passes early on putting them under pressure. The opening ten minutes were a bit nervy as the boys tried to find their rhythm, but once they settled, there was no looking back. The team began to move the ball with confidence and composure, showing real quality across the pitch.

At half-time, the message was clear — move the ball quicker, avoid holding on to it too long, and look to play out of the crowded midfield areas. The boys took that advice on board perfectly.

The second half was a masterclass. The Bullets came out firing, dominating possession, creating chances, and showing the clear difference in class between the two sides. Their teamwork, movement, and confidence on the ball were a joy to watch.

As the game went on, the Bullets’ confidence grew, and so did their control of the match. Goals came from all over the pitch:

Jacob with a brilliant brace

Challis finding the net with precision

Tyler adding to the tally

Dexter rounding off the scoring in style

The final whistle blew on what was an outstanding team performance — a big game, a big three points, and a display full of pride, passion, and teamwork.

It was also fantastic to hear the boys encouraging and organising each other throughout the game — a real sign of how much they’re growing as a team.

A performance to be proud of — well done, boys!

Players of the Match: Fraser & Thomas

Two outstanding performances this week from Fraser and Thomas, both playing key roles in AFC Market Bosworth Bullets’ fantastic win over Kingsbury Aztecs FC.

Fraser – The Safe Hands at the Back

Fraser was simply outstanding between the sticks. Called into action early in the first half, he made a crucial save to keep the score level at 0–0 — a real turning point in the game. From that moment on, his confidence shone through. He commanded his area superbly, claiming every ball that came his way with hands like glue.

His communication with the defence was spot on, constantly organising and keeping the back line focused. To top it all off, Fraser finished the match with a well-deserved clean sheet, a reflection of his concentration, composure, and quality. A brilliant goalkeeping display that gave the entire team a solid foundation to build on.

Thomas – The Wing Wizard!

Out on the wing, Thomas put in a truly classy performance. From the first whistle, he gave the Kingsbury full-back a nightmare to deal with — full of energy, skill, and confidence. His dribbling was a joy to watch, showing touches of Brazilian flair as he danced past defenders and created chance after chance for the team.

But what made Thomas’ display even more impressive was his work rate off the ball. He never forgot his defensive duties, tracking back to help his full-back and winning back possession when needed. His balance of flair and discipline summed up what every wide player should aspire to be.
