With the wind swirling, the Blazers braved the elements and showed their steel in a really competitive match. With lots of tired legs at the end of the game as the team worked really hard for each other throughout their game against Gillway FC Vikings. On the counter attack the Blazers threw caution to the wind, with threaded through balls and shots at goal, and every time they got wind of an opposition attack they were swift in the tackle and to close down the space.
Well done to our goal scorer and joint player of the match Freddie. Also well done to our other player of the match Daniel, in goal he made several brilliant saves.

Daniel a safe pair of hands in very windy conditions when picking up the ball and player of the match. He made several amazing diving saves to block shots on goal.
Luca worked really hard in defence; he didn’t stop running. Often sprinting to sweeping up loose balls, and brave in making crucial tackles.
Levi found great spaces in the attacking third to start off attacks. Keeping an eye out for any opportunity to pass to a teammate or have a shot at goal.
Freddie a player of the match and another that worked really hard for the team. His passing awareness was brilliant, finding clever through balls. His goal was a lovely finish to the bottom corner.
Easton going forward he has lovely close control of the ball. He shows he’s not afraid to dribble with the ball even when under pressure from defenders.
Nathan was a midfield dynamo. Another who shows great bravery and skill in dribbling the ball and making chances for attackers.
Josh showed steel in the tackle to clear the ball or make a block when helping out in defence, and even tried a cheeky lob of the keeper when up front.
James he seems to be everywhere. Picking up on any loose ball or pass, finding a great pass to his teammates, or driving forward with the ball.
Chance left defenders behind on several occasions with a great turn and move with the ball. A nutmeg for an assist, showing off his skills to create chances for his teammates.
Well done Blazers!
