Billy brave for the Dragons

A beautiful morning away at Ruddington with the sun shining, great to be back out on the pitch.

We started strongly, going 1–0 up inside the first 10 minutes and playing some really good football, especially with the long ball over the top. Ruddington responded to make it 2–1, but Bosworth showed great character to pull it back to 2–2.

A tough refereeing decision just before half-time saw us go in 3–2 down, but the lads kept battling. In the second half, playing downhill, we created some good moments and moved the ball well, just missing that final bit of sharpness in key areas. The game eventually finished 4–2.

Player of the Match - Billy

Player of the Match goes to Billy — an outstanding performance. Strong, brave, dominant in the air, and putting his body on the line time and time again. A real rock at the back.

Plenty of positives to take, and the win will come. We keep pushing and go again next week.
