Ben bags a brace

First game in a while for the sonics, pitch more 11 aside than 9, only one sub and up hill first half… off the Sonics went!

Every player today was a credit to themselves in how they played, worked as a team and kept their composure. They played some really good football, passing and intensity off of the ball, everything in training started to shine through.

From David strong in goal to making key saves and distributions, to the defence of Leighton, Freya and William who all remained composed on the ball and worked to win every ball, to the mid of Jenson and Max T as a duo who worked for each other and with the wings, to the wings of Louie, George and Ben who put some excellent dribbles forwards, releases of the ball and speed to attack, to Jack as striker who worked relentlessly to make space and attack the goal.

One person stood out today and delivered the task they had been asked to do and that was to work at super sonic speed! Ben from the moment he entered the pitch was Mr Speedy! He attacked with every ball, ran the wing to help get back and defend, was composed on the ball and something he did in abundance was work at super sonic speed off the ball to positionally get high up the pitch to attack the goal!

Ben was rewarded with two goals for his amazing efforts today! Really well done Ben and every sonic today for the game you delivered.
