Club of the Year 2026

Representatives from AFC Market Bosworth attended the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Recognition Awards 2026 at the Athena in Leicester, and we’re still incredibly proud of what was a truly unforgettable evening.

To be recognised as Club of the Year is an honour that means so much to everyone connected with our club. While the trophy may have been presented on the night, this award belongs to every volunteer, coach, player, parent, guardian and supporter who gives their time, energy and passion to help AFC Market Bosworth thrive.

The 2025/26 season has been another fantastic chapter in our club’s journey. From our youngest players taking their first steps in football to our senior teams competing every weekend, the commitment shown across every part of the club has been nothing short of outstanding. Behind the scenes, countless volunteers continue to make everything possible, whether it’s coaching, officiating, fundraising, maintaining facilities or supporting matchdays.

Winning Club of the Year is recognition of the incredible community that has been built at AFC Market Bosworth. It reflects the inclusive, welcoming environment we strive to create, where players of all ages and abilities can enjoy football, develop as individuals and make lifelong memories.

We would like to thank the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA for hosting another fantastic evening celebrating the people who make grassroots football so special. It was a privilege to share the occasion with so many deserving clubs and volunteers from across the county.
