AFC Market Bosworth v Ellistown FC Men’s league cup semi final fixture:
AFC Market Bosworth 4-0 Ellistown FC.
Today’s game being staged at a neutral venue with league appointed official’s, was a tasty affair for all to witness.
This game got underway in perfect condition and both teams started well. Boise with there usual stile of play and trying to get the ball on the floor, was smothered early by the hard working opposition. However, Bosie continued to probe and during the first 20 mins this tight affair started to settle down.
Ellistown who continued to launch long ball after long ball was easily closed out by the very impressive back line in Blake, Kieron, Harry and Rees. Supported and directed by the “Cat” in goal, Matt L.
The Bosie Midfield was constantly under pressure but with captain Rory H, and the dynamic Dec G, it was inevitable who was going to win this battle. Fantastic goal from Dec who calmly lobbed there keeper from just over half way, calmly turned to the opposition bench with a big beaming smile on his face and muttered the word “CLASS”
It didn’t stop there neither, as today man of the match Owen S who grabbed the opening goal was unplayable at times and had Ellistown town players chasing his shadow.

Out on the wings both Alex and Nat worked their socks off and continued to ask questions of Ellistown.
Mahdi played up front on his own, but with his slick movements and talent to out think the opposition managed to cause danger time and time again and was rewarded with a well taken goal.
All of this supported so well by Mike out on the wings, who delivered his best game to date was just too much for there right back to handle. With his hard work attitude and blistering pace, he managed to supply Mickal with his coolly taken goal which was an exquisite finish and put this game to bed.
Big mention to Reuben S who has returned from a bad injury. Great to have you back in the squad.
Finally, thank you to Charlie A who was good enough to come down and help the team out along with the ever improving Jack W.
This amazing group of talented lads deservedly book their place in the cup final that’s being staged at Coalville Towns home pitch on Friday 22nd May with a 7.30pm kick off.
Come along and cheer on the lads!
Come on you Bosie Boys.
