BLAZERS ARE BACK!

The Blazers had their first preseason friendly away to Allexton and New Paris. The Blazers were without Chance, Luca, Archie and Nathan but still boasted a squad of 9 players.

Daniel showed real bravery to make a diving save at the feet of the attacker and also demonstrated great handling when catching an awkward looking shot. His distribution from defence has massively improved and it's incredible to see!

Easton with a typically energetic defensive performance from him. He was strong in his tackling but also got forward several times with the ball.

Zach, it was another brave display from him. Made a lovely first time pass to Wyatt in the first half and produced two strong tackles.

Harrison, his confidence continues to grow! Made an amazing sliding tackle in the first half which Maldini would of been proud of! Then made a sliding interception in the second half. Fantastic determination from him.

Josh was Captain for the game and oozed composure in defence. He is another player that has shown remarkable improvement. He always wanted the ball from Daniel and his passing was excellent.

Freddie worked tirelessly all game, making several forward runs with the ball. On the ball he's showing brilliant confidence in taking players on and then dropped into defence, to continue his tenacious display.

James was always looking to pass the ball and his incredible run and cross to Wyatt would of been a brilliant team goal but for a defenders interception. He also saw a low shot tipped wide by the goalkeeper in another quality performance from him.

Wyatt was so strong in carrying the ball forward and his work rate for the team was awesome. He played some nice passes and supported the attack well, which saw him score a wonderful hat-trick!

Levi, his pace whilst dribbling is phenomenal. He was a constant thorn in the opposition side and works so hard for the team. He loves to attack quickly and scored a brilliant hat-trick as well!

It was a brilliant display from the Blazers! We have worked so hard with our passing and finding space and the boys put that into the game this morning. We are seeing numerous passes being put together now, with the decision making of either going short or trying to stretch the team being so effective. The defending was committed and the work rate was so high. All the team was awarded players of the match for a proper team performance and effort this morning!

Well done Blazers!
