Well today we asked the Sonics to give it their all and they responded really well from the first whistle. The intensity from the off from Ben was with super sonic speed and dribbling skill.
Jack in the middle worked really hard to distribute the ball he took some knocks today but got up carried on and had a really mature game.
Tom also in the middle had been poorly in the week but you wouldn’t have known, his effort for every ball was immense and he got a well deserved goal today.
Leighton in the midfield and defence was composed on the ball and drove the ball forwards throughout the game and worked hard throughout.
Freya in defence was also composed and strong on the one on one tackles and used her strength to her advantage.
William in defence and on the wing was strong to the ball, he worked to win everything and passed some accurate balls to team mates.
Louie as right back was strong to every ball, he had the accurate tackles and runs to provide that needed enthusiasm to drive forwards.
David in goal today made some excellent saves and was talking to his defence and commanding his area.
Max W on the wing was ready to always pounce but when he sat in the centre he controlled the play and was always looking to release the ball to the wings.
James also sat in the middle in front of defence for a good bit and read the game well and got to the ball first to release to his team mates.
George on the wing worked hard today he had a fast opponent who he marked extremely well for speed and skill throughout.
Jake on the wing was attacking very fast and going forwards looking for the goal always.

Today was a day of days for Max T in more ways than one, he worked as striker and was strong to the ball, worked hard to make space, worked hard to get the ball and take on the defence, he also got his first goal for the sonics which was well deserved and for his all round amazing effort Max was awarded player of the week.
Well done Max T and all of the Sonics!
