BOZZY A HOOT IN THE CUP

Today’s game is the first round of AFC defending their county cup triumph.

Bosie went on the road to Oadby Owls first team. With storm Amy doing her best to create difficult conditions for both teams it was the Bosie Boys who came out on top.

To add to storm Amy was a slopping pitch with a worn surface. It was most impressive how AFC managed to follow there values and play some impressive football at times.

With Oadby having advantage in the first half with the wind behind, it was always going to be challenging for the Bosie defence. However the back line in Luke, Blake, Kieron, Charlie and Isaac handled this with great composure for most of the time.

The two key midfielders in captain Rory and Dec were really up for it today and both players constantly broke up Oadby attack up on multiple times by simply out thinking and out working those around them.

Big well done to Jamie D who earnt his first start today contributed well and got involved on a few occasions.

With top goal scorer Rees M grabbing two goals today as well as Ade slotting calmly to push Bosie 3-1 up kept the home team at bay.

Today’s player of the match goes to Mike. Always chasing down the opposition and was finally rewarded with his first Bosworth goal.

Well done to Jack W and Phoenix when entering the field of play and contributing well to close of the final score 2-4 to Bosie.
