Sundays game got underway in perfect conditions at Ravenstone.
Top of the table AFC Market Bosworth started brightly and team captain Rory H set a high tempo, tackling hard in the middle of the park and created surplus space for Dec and Mahdi to exploit time after time.
The hard working Mike didn’t stop running all game. His power and speed constantly kept the Luxe defense on their toes and it wasn’t long before super striker Rees M collected a cracking through ball to smash Bosie into a deserved 1-0 lead.
Luxe gave everything they had from the restart and deservedly won a free kick on the edge of the AFCMB box. This resulted in a well taken free kick that looked goal bound until today’s stand in keeper James pulled off a cracking full length save to keep his side in the lead.
Luxe kept pushing hard and from a resulting corner James pulled off another cracking save.
Bosie’s defence settled and Adie collected the ball on the left for AFCMB and after taken 2 players out the game he was eventually pulled down by the third for a free kick. Up stepped Adie again and floated the most exquisite free kick that was eventually cleared by the Luxe defence to the edge of there box and waiting poised was skipper Rory H, who pulled the trigger for a rocket shot that finished top bins to put Bosie 2-0. Half time.
After the break, the game restarted with both teams going backwards and forwards for the next 10 mins. Neither team managed to carve any worthy chance out until from a corner, Luxe pull a goal back 2-1.
This bought Bosie to life and an onslaught followed for the next 30 mins, wave after wave of attack ended up ripping the opposition to pieces.
Defence through to Midfield then on to forward line was so impressive to watch and Rees M eventually smashing Bosie 3-1 up.
Luxe FC tried their hardest but with fresh legs coming off the bench for Bosie it was “Super Ribs” Alex R heading Bosie 4-1 up.
With around 5 mins left and Luxe FC in disarray, its was inevitable for Rees M to break the offside trap and gallop through to calmly finish and end the tie as 5-1 very worthy winners and complete his hat-trick.

AFC Market Bosworth 5 - 1 Luxe FC
Really well done team and a cracking start to the first two games. Scored 9 and conceded 2.
Come on you Bosie Boys!
