BLAZERS FINDING WAYS TO SHINE

In the late September sunshine, the Blazers were finding ways to shine. The view from the dugout was 'probably our best passing performance and the lads worked so hard'. Goalscorers James, Wyatt and Chance led the way in attack, forward players working hard in pressing the opposition defenders in to mistakes. In defence, the Blazers parked the bus and worked hard as a team to limit shots on their goal.

Levi was involved all over the pitch. Great confidence on the ball to dribble out of trouble and pick a pass.

Easton gave the opposition defenders the run around, with clever movement finding space to threaten on goal.

Daniel made several great close range saves with his hands and feet. A safe pair of gloves again this week.

Luca enjoys a trick and turn to weave past the opposition and bring the ball out of defence. So close to a top bins finish!

Josh hassled the opposition and showed great positional awareness to block the ball a number of times. Up front he didn't stop moving.

Nathan keeps an eye on his defender and moves away from them so well to find great space to pick up a pass and threaten with a run or shot or goal.

James shows brilliant determination to win the ball back and start forward plays, a player of the match performance topped off with two superb goals.

Freddie works his socks off. Finding himself in defence mopping up the loose ball to find a pass forward, or supporting forward plays.

Chance, a mazy run from kick off and a classy finish for his goal. In the final third he picks a lovely pass to find someone in space.

Wyatt with a calm finish from the penalty spot. Going forward, picking up loose balls and being direct and really nice passing down the wings to forward players.
