EDWARDS COMMITS IN A CURRY

After talks hotter than Griff’s Chicken Madras, Director Of Veterans Football Chad Brindley managed to convince Steve Edwards to commit to another season of Veterans football.

Under the watchful eye of Assistant Manager and After-Match Entertainment Officer Daniel Griffith’s a deal was thrashed out over Popadoms and Mango Chutney at the Simla Peppers in Market Bosworth. Additionally Scott Cockeram pledged his future to the team stating he wants to lead the team out of the Alans Way Pavilion as captain.

DOVF Brindley said “I’m looking for a manager who can surpass my tarnished record of consecutive bottom of the league finishes and this contract extension gives me every chance of removing myself from the club record books”

The summer promises to be a busy one, pre-season training, friendlies arranged and three sponsorship deals already struck.
