We could have written headline news the "War of the Roses" or "The Belles Ring Out for Christmas" but the best news headline was 28 girls representing the Bosworth badge on the pitch and a young referee in Nat from the U18 and Men’s Team officiating and the Girls did indeed entertain in the U15 Girls Battle of Bosworth.   It was a case of third time lucky as the inter-club county cup clash of the AFCMB U15 Belles versus the AFCMB U15 Roses which had fallen foul of the weather twice already....

After all the postponed matches due to the rain, the dragons also expected to be called off. However to everyone's surprise the game away at Burton Joyce was ON! Conditions were horrendous and it didn't stop raining from the moment we left to the moment we arrived home. We started the game with a minute silence for the tragic loss of an ex player at the club. The dragons send their condolences. We struggled from the off and really lacked the intensity we needed. We couldn't get into the game...

Another wet game for the Sonics, lower on numbers today and a boot crisis en route! Slower start from the Sonics leaving them behind within minutes and unfortunately it rained constantly for the first half, but after the goal the Sonics came alive, worked together as a team and had put everything we had been working at in training into play.
