Yes a loss, but a number of shining lights from this result.
Today POTM - Dec G, who was carrying an injury, really showed his quality throughout this match and proved that he refused to just lay down. A top class display and alway prepared to put himself on the line. Great leadership!
Not quite in sync today Bosie found themselves 2-0 down after 20 mins. A little unlucky to not pull a goal back as Alex, Ollie and Nat going close along with Henry hitting the cross bar.
Half time 2-0 to Beamont.
Like last week’s game, half time came and a change in formation got a great reaction from the team. Second half got underway and Bosie went on a good 30 minute push to get back in this match. Finally rewarded with a very nicely composed goal from Henry L.
2-1 to Beamont.
Bosie continued to prod and probe for an equaliser but today wasn’t to be.
Special mentions to Rees M who was always prepared to play wherever ask and executing to a high standard. As well as Sean alway happy to listen and constantly encouraging his fellow team mates.
A small reminder where we have come from. A team that’s now 7 months old in their existence.
With a secured team sponsor, recently voted team of the month, 4th in our respective league and realistically chasing 3rd, county cup final already in the bag and finally, group leaders of their respective cup group stage competition.
Great work team and we go again and look forward to another winning run.
COYB boys!
