The blazers welcomed Allexton on a sunny Sunday morning. The Blazers had a squad of 8 with Daniel returning in goal.
Daniel - tipped a shot over the bar in the first half and whilst he didn't have much to do most the game, he remained focused throughout
Luca - another excellent display from him and drove forward at every opportunity. He linked up play well and his decision making was perfect throughout
Wyatt - scored a birthday hat trick and was a constant threat all game. Carried the ball well and also set up Chance for the first goal of the game. Full of running all game
James - another solid performance from him where he showcased his ability on the ball. Making sharp turns and passed the ball well. Dropped into defence second half which demonstrates his versatility
Freddie - played as a striker today and in typical fashion he carried the ball forward well. Saw a shot blocked in the second half but kept going throughout the game and his confidence this morning brilliant
Josh - another player who is versatile. Started in midfield and went close with an attempt in the first half. Then slotted into defence second half making regular interceptions and tackles
Harrison - such a calm and composed player within the squad. Defensively he was excellent, getting In front of the attacker and passed the ball forward so well. He communicated well with his defensive partner and his confidence is soaring. He was awarded player of the match!
Chance - absolutely fantastic from Chance this morning. We have spoken about finding space to want the ball and every time we were in possession, Chance was in space. He made several runs forward and grabbed a well deserved hat trick! Awarded player of the match!
What a display from the blazers! Our previous encounters with today's opponents have always been close games with both teams playing good football. All credit to the opposition, who passed the ball well and are a lovely group of players. The blazers were on fire though and it's brilliant to see the boys take on the advice and demonstrate it in the games. Our passing and finding space was evident today and it's clear to see that the boys are drastically moving in the right direction.
We had a birthday today as Wyatt turned 8 and the boys all shared sweets to celebrate! We hope you had a brilliant day Wyatt!
Well done Blazers!
