Semi final against a tough opposition and the sonics stepped up! We took the lead within a couple of minutes from Tom with a lovely taken goal.

Ben in the first half made some super saves, with Freya and Leighton defending strong throughout the game.

The wingers of George, William and Jack throughout the game had a tough job to do and their fitness and determination was excellent and they progressed the ball up the pitch, defended hard and really worked on their man marking.

James as striker when the ball came is way stood his ground and attacked the goal, when on the wing he brought life to the position. Today was end to end play with goals for both teams and in the second half Tom took the tap in and scored an excellently weighted goal, it was like the perfect free kick!

All this said, Ben throughout the game made some superb saves, his shot stopping today with high jumps to save the ball was excellent and he kept us in the game with his immense display! Today Ben was the player of the week!
