Bar one comedy slip by ref Jim, it was largely one way traffic with Liv an energetic and physical presence in midfield and Emily J sniffing goals.

The ball started regularly finding the back of the net with doubles from Liv and Evie, a nice finish from Holly and a staggering 6 from Emily who is putting on some fantastic displays this season - are you watching Leicester City?

A number of the girls have started senior school together and what struck me on Wednesday at training was just how well they get along and how much they are enjoying each others company.

There's a mix of footballing experience in the team but no matter - this bunch are in it together.

Well done for Eva for braving it between the sticks and to all the team who played their part in a great 11 - 1 victory.

There's a couple of tough games on the horizon but from what I saw, the team spirit and togetherness stands them in good stead.
